Sang-Ha Park


Ms. Park has 20 years of experience, of 4 years have been with Cooley Monato Studio. She is experienced in full-phase projects of interior and exterior lighting and both domestic and international projects, reflecting a diverse range of experience from small to large projects including over 50 locations of Michael Kors, Polo Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, Neiman Marcus, A Lounge JFK and Rockefeller lobby renovation. Prior to Cooley Monato, Ms. Park has worked as an interior designer, which involved many commercial, hospitality, and retail projects mostly with Samsung. While working in the interior design profession, she had opportunities to teach college students in interior design in Kyung Sung University and Dong Ju University in Korea. While being employed as both interior profession and instructor, Ms. Park experienced that lighting is the most essential element in an architectural space, realizing that lighting completes the design and brings life into a space to transform real life. This made her to endure learning lighting design to achieve the combination of art and critical theory.

After graduating from Parsons School of Design, Ms. Park has been working for Rambusch Lighting for over seven years, using her innovative method of technical hand drawing, illustration and rendering to contribute in the creation of many luminaries and lighting design, including the Utah State Capitol, Empire State Building and New York City Firemen’s memorial. Also, her work in lighting design firms includes the lighting design of a vast array of commercial, institutional and hospitality projects such as JP Morgan Chase, Google, a various branch of New York Public Library, A&E Entertainment, The Ritz Carlton Hotel, Mandarin Oriental Hotel and Montage Cabo Resort. Ms. Park has achieved Lighting Certified Professional (LC) and LEED Accredited Professional.
